Don’t You Want to Play?

Baby Chelsea loves Roory probably a little too much. She’s about 6 months now and wants to play with everything and everyone. She doesn’t understand that not everything can be played with and not everyone wants to play with her all the time–especially not the cat! It’s a good thing Roory is one tough kitty and tolerates it most of the time 🙂

Enjoy our photos from the weekend mischief between these two!

What? Did you say something, Roory? Did you say you want to play?

Hey, why are you pulling away? What do you mean you have to be "gentle" with kitties?

Come back! I'm sorry!

Well, I guess that means I can have this thing all to myself! It is a dog bed, after all!

  1. Smooth move! You got the bed all to yourself!! LOL!

  2. Too cute! 🙂 Those pictures made me smile.

  3. Hey Roory,

I’ll play with you!! I’m always up for playtime!! My friend next door is like your Kittie, I don’t get it either – why WOULDN’T they want to play all the time, huh? Tee Hee

    Have fun buddy,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  4. Chelsea, you weren’t playing – you were trying to chase Roory away, weren’t you?

  5. Chancy, Mumsy and Crew

Great pictures! We love seeing dogs and cats play together. We are liking that cool lookin’ bed too that you have there. Hugs and nose kisses

  6. At least she is somewhat gentle and doesn’t chase kitty when it leaves. I usually can’t get Chester or Gretel that close to cats.

  7. Very cute. I guess that is one way to get the bed to yourself!

  8. Hi!
Cats just do not get it do they? What good is a bed if you can’t make it into a play place before you go to sleep? Cats are grumpy! But, at least you got the bed to yourself! 🙂

    Lots of Collie Hugs!
    The Collies 🙂

  9. Roory is much nicer than June Buggie! I wouldda got popped for sure!

  10. Haha, they are definitely a hilarious pair! Roory puts up with it most of the time because Chelsea seems to think Roory’s hissing/scratching is an invitation for more playing. So now Roory just bolts. Of course, right now they’re sleeping next to each other in harmony 🙂
