Makes approximately 12-20, depending on the size of the treats.

1 ½ cups oatmeal
1 cup rice flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ tablespoons canola oil
1 egg
½ cup mint, freshly chopped
½ cup parsley, freshly chopped
¾  cup water

>>Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
>>Mix ingredients first in bowl then blend in a food processor.

>>Spoon mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet in a round cookie shape. Dough will be very sticky.  The smaller the treat, the shorter the baking time. We make ours bigger so we can use one treat for all three pups.

>>Bake for 15-25 minutes or until cooked throughly. Cool 20 minutes before serving to your pup. Stays good for up to 3 weeks if stored in the freezer.

  3. My person is making my Christmas cookies last a long time – in other words, I’m not getting to eat nearly as many as I would like. I bet she’s doing that so she won’t have to make me any more treats for awhile.

  4. I’ll breathe on the tall person and ask him if I need these! 🙂

  5. I admire people who take the time to make treats for their dogs. 🙂
